Not to nit-pick, but this transliteration of "nyash" is sourced from Ben Okri, who should know better. Scholars of pidgin are well aware that the correct spelling is "yansh!" with the exclamation. Honestly! The "y" is important in order to get the right... emphasis. It is a thoroughly Nigerian tradition, Yanshology, and I would prefer it if we held ourselves to the highest standards of intellectual discourse.
